If you do not live for God you’re living in darkness. God is love, peace, comfort, holiness, truth, the way, and the light. I was miserable and depressed before I came to know God. I was in the world and nothing could fill the space in my life - nothing and no one but God.
In my 6 years of serving him I have grown and developed in so many areas. I was delivered from things I struggled with and wrestled with for many years. There is no limits when you serve God meaning there’s always something to learn and always another opportunity to grow. He will always show you more and more of his wisdom, knowledge and love only when you desire more of him.
Choosing God will always be the single most important decision I ever made in my life. When you choose Him and put him first daily, he provides everything else you need. Some of us stay away from God because we don’t feel worthy of his love or his presence and goodness. Forgive yourself and love yourself enough to know that you need to draw closer to God continually. Don’t go too long in between prayers. Spend time with him staying in his word. God didn’t make a mistake when he created you.
