Establishing Order
For us to serve God we must strive to continually “get our house in order.” The opposite of order is chaos. When things seem to fall apart, always turn to the scriptures on how you can overcome it all. If you don’t know where to start - pray and ask the Lord to guide you out of the chaos. Jesus is all about order and the statement “get your house in order,” is referring to every sense of order in your life.
Physical - cleanliness, organization, decluttering your home, health, and wellness.
Spiritual Order - prayer, fasting, attending church faithfully, living a life of full repentance, tithing, reading and meditating on the word of God. Ultimately doing all of these things builds your personal relationship with God. Putting God first in your life will assure everything else will line up for his glory and purpose in your life.
Your relationships - God commands us to love everyone. Clean your “house” by ridding yourself of any unforgiveness in your relationship with others. People that let you down, family or friends, coworkers, brothers and sisters in the body of Christ - forgive everyone and love them. If the Lord removes that person from your life continue to love and pray for them and obey God’s will on the matter.
